As part of the renowned MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute, MedStar Union Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiac Surgery team. Our institute is recognized regionally and nationally for advancing cardiovascular care through groundbreaking research, state-of-the-art technology, and a steadfast focus on improving patient outcomes.
In this role, you will:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care, focusing on pre- and post-operative management.
- Collaborate with an expert team of surgeons, physicians, and advanced practice providers to deliver exceptional, evidence-based care.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in cardiac surgery practices.
Position Details:
- Full-time, 36 hours per week
- Day shift (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.)
- Inpatient-focused role
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in cardiac surgery or a surgical/acute care setting strongly preferred
- Committed to teamwork, clinical excellence, and advancing cardiovascular care

This position has a hiring range of
USD $115,000.00 - USD $143,619.00 /Yr.
