Job Description:
**Overview**

**JOB SPECIFICS**

* Evaluation and management of acute work-related injuries and illnesses.

* Serves as Medical Examiner for preplacement and DOT physical examinations.

* Collaborates with employers, employees, and other healthcare professionals to promote healthy work environments and prevent occupational illnesses and injuries.

Required Qualifications:
* Master's degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
* Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
* Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
* Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in occ health, primary care, urgent care or a related field is preferred
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
* Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Preferred Qualifications:
* Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served

* Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $55.20-63.65 hr
* Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Schedule:
two 10-hour shifts from 6:30am to 5pm between Mondy through Friday
