**Overview**
OSF HealthCare Saint Katharine Medical Center is seeking a motivated and collaborative Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Surgery team in Dixon, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced orthopedic surgeons in a well-established practice while providing high-quality, patient-centered musculoskeletal care.

**Position Highlights**

* Work with a dedicated orthopedic surgery team consisting of 2 surgeons and 1 physician assistant

* Mix of clinic, surgical first assist, inpatient rounding, and post-operative care
* Opportunity to develop strong relationships with patients in a community-focused setting

**Responsibilities**

* Evaluate, diagnose, and manage orthopedic patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
* Assist orthopedic surgeons in the operating room
* Conduct pre-operative and post-operative assessments
* Develop treatment plans and provide patient education
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies
* Perform procedures within scope of practice
* Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and rehabilitation teams

Required Qualifications:
* Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
* NCCPA certification required
* Illinois PA license (or eligibility to obtain)
* Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:
* Orthopedic experience preferred, but new graduates with orthopedic rotations will be considered
