About the Practice:

The Anesthesia Department at Reading Hospital's Tower Health location, performs 35,000 - 40,000 procedures annually.  The practice covers a full range of cases, including OB, trauma, neuro, pediatrics and cardiology.  This opportunity combines an environment of mutual respect, cooperation and integrity with an excellent support staff.The Department of Anesthesia is housed in the HealthPlex for Advanced and Surgical Patient Care, a 476,000 square foot, state-of-the-art surgical inpatient tower, featuring:

• 24 surgical suites, including 6 hybrid-capable operating rooms
• Eight minor procedure rooms
• 16 emergency treatment rooms and expansion to 5 trauma bays
• Level 1 Trauma Center
• Pediatric Emergency Department

Qualifications:

• MD/DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesia
• Candidates coming out of training encouraged to apply!
• A valid PA Medical License or the ability to obtain one is required
• Experience practicing medicine in hospital or private practice
• Highly computer literate and familiar with charting
• Excels in communicating sensitive and/or adverse information
• Sound judgment and expert decision-making abilities
• Analytical thinker and complex problem-solver
