MercyOne Genesis is hiring a BC/BE Physiatrist to serve as Medical Director for our CARF‑accredited 39‑bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. This is an excellent leadership opportunity within a collaborative, high‑quality rehab program.

Position Highlights

• Full‑time Medical Director
• 2‑year guaranteed salary 307,613
• Additional director & supervision compensation
• $100,000 recruitment incentive
• Up to $15,000 moving assistance
• 4 weeks PTO + 6 holidays + 1 week CME
• $6,000 CME allowance

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a 39‑bed CARF‑accredited inpatient rehab unit
• Daily rounding with therapists, NPs, PAs, nurses, and hospitalists
• Oversee clinical quality & patient outcomes
• Work closely with a hospitalist team

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Eligible for Iowa license
• State/federal prescriptive authority
• H‑1B cap‑exempt candidate's welcome
