OB/GYN Hospitalist
The UNC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB-GYN Hospitalist at UNC Women's Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. This is a full-time, non-tenure track clinical faculty position.
Highlights
* Join a multidisciplinary team including 3 other hospitalist OB/GYNs as well as 5 inpatient-only CNMs. Our Labor and Delivery Unit is always staffed by two attending physicians from a pool of hospitalists, generalists, and MFMs.
* Schedule: twelve to fourteen 12-hour shifts per month (including nights, weekends and holidays).
* Appointment rank commensurate with qualifications and experience
* Excellent UNC faculty benefits include paid leave, retirement plans, exceptional healthcare benefits, and clinical incentive pay
Responsibilities
* Clinical: Labor and Delivery, gynecologic consults, and gynecologic emergencies
* Teaching: teach medical students and OB-GYN residents
Requirements & Qualifications
* MD or DO required
* Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
* Completed ACGME-approved 4-year OB/GYN residency
* Preferred: Previous OB/GYN hospitalist experience or training, a track record of strong clinical competence and independent practice
