Position Details:

Physiatrist for a full-time position as assistant, associate, or full professor on the clinical scholar pathway

Responsibilities include patient care and an involvement in resident and medical student teaching

Outpatient PM&R

Shared weekend and holiday cross-coverage among a group of six current physicians

Opportunities for acute care consultations and outpatient prosthetic/orthotic management

Located in a specialty orthopaedic/rehabilitation facility, outpatient opportunities exist for general PM&R, post-acute care follow-up including TBI, Stroke and SCI, electrodiagnostics, O&P, procedures and specialty interests

Direct collaborations with Orthopaedic colleagues in all specialties is immediately available

Requirements:

Board Certified/Board Eligible P hysiatrist

Interest in comprehensive Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)

Demonstrate the potential for excellence in clinical care, teaching and scholarship

Possess the experience and skills to provide outstanding communications and scientific writing support

Possess the experience and skills to support research, advance the educational mission of the University, and/or develop and lead clinical programs

Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Vermont, for privileges at UVM Medical Center, and for faculty appointment at the University of Vermont
