VCU Healths CMH facility, which opened in 2017, includes an IP labor and delivery unit and OP services are provided in the hospitals attached medical office building suites. US News and World Report recognized VCUs CMH among the Best Hospitals for Maternity. The Ob-Gyn team is comprised of three physicians and one nurse practitioner, with approximately 250 deliveries annually, and a 1 in 3 call schedule. CMH provides a wide array of in-patient services, including acute care along with many outpatient services and programs. Since our inception, we have grown to be one of the areas largest employers with approximately 800 employees, 200+ volunteers and 85 physicians representing 30 medical specialties on staff.
